About

Tesseract Quantum

Tesseract Quantum is a non-profit association promoting and raising awareness about quantum computing, and offering quantum computing education.

We are creating podcasts, webinars, organising and participating in live, in-person events. Our offering ranges from easily digestible quantum computing knowledge sharing, through in-depth quantum computing programming webinars, to result oriented workshops with the goal of creating new, freely accessible algorithms.

Katia Moskvitch

President

Katia Moskvitch, MPhil is a leading voice at the intersection of quantum technologies, business, and society. Over a 15+ year career, she has held a number of senior editorial and leadership roles, including as the Head of Communications at IBM Research Europe and the Business editor at WIRED magazine.

Katia is the founder of Tesseract Quantum, an education initiative building new pathways for quantum learning, and The Quantum Kid, a fast-growing podcast she co-hosts with her 9-year-old quantum-curious son Kai.

With thousands of subscribers, the podcast brings quantum science to both young audiences and senior professionals.

She has also convened global expert communities at the World Economic Forum, spanning multiple industries, to define strategies for quantum readiness as we move rapidly toward quantum advantage.

Named European Science Journalist of the Year in 2019, Katia combines deep scientific expertise with the ability to translate complex research into clear, compelling narratives.

Today, her mission is to rethink how education prepares society for the quantum age—integrating quantum into school curricula, upskilling today’s developers and business leaders, and building awareness from classrooms to boardrooms.

Denes Pelyhe

Vice President

Denes Pelyhe is a software engineering manager with 20+ years of experience, with a background in the telecom and banking industries. Since 2020 he’s been working at Google on some of the largest services in the world, used by billions of people.

As the founder of Tesseract Quantum, he set foot in yet another domain, quantum computing, at the intersection of information technology, quantum physics and mathematics. His track record of solving complex and ambiguous problems prepared him perfectly to bring Tesseract Quantum’s mission to life: to unlock the power of quantum computing by training the future quantum computing workforce: programmers, leaders, educators.

Kai Weber

The Quantum Kid

Kai co-hosts the Quantum Kid with his mother Katia.
